Zazenkai means “coming together for meditation.” This is a wonderful opportunity for a full day of deep practice with the support of experienced teachers and a like-minded community. This month, we will focus on the precepts, the vows one takes when he or she commits fully to the Buddhist path. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to appreciate the ways in which these vows can guide your life. At the end of the day, those that have taken vows will be welcomed to renew them during a ceremony. All are welcome and encouraged to support those that will be renewing their vows. You are encouraged to attend the entire event, but partial participation is permitted as well.
